Cannabidiol Reduces Intestinal Inflammation through the Control of Neuroimmune Axis

CBD proves to be a therapeutic strategy to treat inflammatory bowel diseases when looking at cultured human and mice intestinal biopsies. The biopsies from patients with ulcerative colitis were treated with CBD. Results showed a significant reduction in intestinal inflammation and damage.
